Elizabeth is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Elizabeth follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We visited the Portuguese Social Club to watch the Colombia vs. Portugal match with a large group that included friends and family of both nationalities. The experience was fantastic, and the venue is perfectly set up to handle large crowds. The complex is quite large and features three distinct areas: the main dining room, a basement bar, and a spacious outdoor area equipped with a giant screen and a barbecue station. I tried the classic roast chicken served with bread and sangria. A straightforward, tasty choice. They have a stand serving churros and ice cream which turned out to be delicious making it ideal for children. They have a very spacious and convenient private parking lot, as well as an area with picnic style tables. It offers a wholesome, safe, and family friendly atmosphere with excellent organization for enjoying soccer and traditional Portuguese food. I would like to make a suggestion: the DJ should play music that appeals to all audiences.

A typical Portuguese outdoor event. This wasn't so crowded most likely due to the fact it was a great beach day. Typical food barbecue chicken, sardines, pork and beef meats and soup. As well as beer, wine and soda. A few vendors selling churro and iced, etc. A live band. Some parking on site and no cost to enter. Update: after pandemic people want to go back to life. Tonight the club celebrates 100th years. Very crowded as people enjoy the culture.
